Hi, I’m Jasen Workman,

I live in Southern Utah with my amazing fiancé Crystal. I consider myself a super dad and proud father of six, expert lizard hunter, pro seashell gatherer, certified fishing line detangler, kids' park explorer, and patient poppa bear. Beyond my family life, I am an artist, tattooist, writer, researcher, teacher, life changer, healer, creator, innovator, serial entrepreneur, and problem solver.

Professional Tattooing Career:

• Owner/artist at Humble Bee Studios, St. George, Utah
• Experience: Over 30 years in the tattoo industry
• 8 years self-taught
• 9 years in various studios
• 16 years as owner/artist at 314 tattoo/humble bee studios

• Skills: Large scale black and gray, large scale color, hand-making needles, former machine builder/sand caster

• Education: Member of the alliance of professional tattooists for 10 years, attended 30+ hands-on tattoo seminars, participated in 100+ conventions, and guest spots nationwide

• K-12 education: Varied educational background with significant life experiences

• Undergraduate Education: BFA in drawing, painting, and printmaking from Southern Utah University, recognized as the outstanding senior artist for the college of art and design, and listed in national deans list, national chancellors list, and who’s who amongst college students in America for four consecutive years

• Founder and Co-Creator of “RISE”: A self-guided tattoo artist business-specific training course featuring 120 videos and a 200-page workbook

• Awards and Publications: Recipient of over 100 awards in tattooing and fine art, published in numerous national and international tattoo magazines and books

Personal Journey:

• Left home at 13 and lived on the streets, became a ward of the state of nevada, and experienced homelessness and foster care

• Walked from Las Vegas to Utah at 18 with a garbage bag of belongings

• The birth of his daughter DJ changed his life

• Achieved his first 7-figure year in 2013

• Diagnosed with a life-threatening brain tumor, undertook a 630-mile solo walk from san francisco to portland, oregon, resulting in full remission and a 60-pound weight loss

• Plans to publish a book in 2030 detailing his life story

Current Ventures:

• Founder and CEO of Derma Finance: A finance solution company supporting all fields of the tattoo industry

Philanthropy:

• Hosted and donated to major fundraising events, worked with pow mia group, boys and girl scouts of America, National Guard, and multiple military branches to raise money and install a monument in Boise, Idaho for fallen soldiers of the Iraq war

• Donated thousands of pounds of food and clothing to local shelters and crisis centers in Utah and Idaho during Thanksgiving and Christmas

• Made numerous donations to the Angel Tree Foundation, pediatric burn centers, and childhood cancer/leukemia centers

• Hosted "tatts for toys" events, with all donations going to families in need

• Supported the "shop with a cop" program, helping underprivileged children and families with essentials

• Provided countless gift certificates to non-profit organizations for community support

• Volunteered and financially supported K-12 reflections art programs in community schools

• Making monthly donations to FFHM Oaxaca Ministry, supporting orphans near a prison in Oaxaca, Mexico, currently sponsoring 7-year-old named Asaf
